Porterbrook Leasing Company Ltd is a leading player in the rail leasing market with a fleet of over 5,500 vehicles on lease or on order, including around 4,000 passenger vehicles.  Porterbrook is financing the two PPM 60 railcars which will operate the Stourbridge Town branch under the London Midland franchise.

London Midland operates the West Midlands' train franchise through the heart of England, with a network of serices spanning from London, through Birmingham and on to Liverpool.  Under the London Midland franchise, two PPM 60 railcars will be introduced to operate passenger services on the Stourbridge Town branch.

Alan Keef Ltd is a supplier of railway equipment for industrial use and for the leisure industry.  The company also supplies rail bound mechanical handling systems, including autoclave trolleys, boat launching trolleys, and industrial monorails, and is now collaborating with PPML to supply chassis and bogies for PPML's railcar and tram products.

Main Road Sheet Metal Ltd is a UK-based supplier of engineering metalwork services.  Main Road are supplying body frames for the two PPM 60 vehicles now under construction

Power Torque Engineering Ltd is a distributor of Ford power products and has supplied LPG-fuelled engines for PPML vehicles, including the PPM 50 railcar which operated at Stourbridge.  Power Torque is supplyIing engine and flywheel modules for PPML's railcars and trams.

Linde Hydraulics Ltd is the British arm of the German Linde group, leaders in the field of hydrostatic power transmission.  Linde systems have been successfully used in PPML vehicles, making regenerative braking possible with two-way transmission.  LHL will supply the secondary transmission systems for PPML railcars and trams.

Brecknell Willis Composites Ltd is a leading supplier of panelling to the rail industry, and has provided PPML vehicles with interior and exterior mouldings.  BWC will supply mouldings for the two PPM 60 vehicles now under construction.

Licensed train operating company Pre Metro Operations Ltd is the only company to have run public lightweight rail services on Britain's national rail network, having operated Sunday services using a PPM 50 Light Railcar on Network Rail's Stourbridge Town branch in 2005-2006.
Canal Transport Services have been boat builders at Norton Canes, Pelsall in the West Midlands since 1964. The small family business was started by Denis Cooper on the old Yates Boatyard site, where he quickly gained a reputation for producing traditional narrowboats and tugs of renowned quality.

The Wensleydale Railway operates train services between Leeming Bar and Redmire in North Yorkshire and aims to re-establish the rail connection throughout from Northallerton to Garsdale. The WR operated a PPM 50 Light Railcar in demonstration public service between Leeming Bar and Northallerton for eight days in September 2005, with over 700 fare-paying passenger journeys made.
The Chasewater Railway near Lichfield runs steam and diesel passenger services and hosted the PPM 50 Railcar from July 2003 until August 2005, when test running, demonstrations and public operations were undertaken.
The Cambrian Railways Society is currently hosting a PPM 30 District Tram at its base in Oswestry, where the vehicle is used in public service on the Society's demonstration track.
