A run over the full length of the line on April 17th 2003 commenced at Rothley Station with a 6 mile trip to Loughborough via Quorn. Seen here at Rothley, the vehicle attracts the attention of a young family on the platform.

After arrival on Platform 2, Loughborough Central Station, the railcar prepares to depart for Leicester North 8 miles away.

Leaving Leicester North Station at southern end of the line, GCR's Operations Manager, John Looker, at the controls returning Car 12 to its base at Rothley.
